Day 2: Kanpalet-Htet Shwe (trekking) Morning depart from the hotel at 8:30am to Hal Laungpan
village (45 minutes trek) to observe Ngra hill tribes. Most
of them have tattooed faces and believe strongly in
spiritialism. Then continue to Htet Shwe village (it is a
heavy trek for 6 hours) passing through deep forest and
waterfalls. Observe the Muum tribe in this village. Over
night in Htet Shwe village house.
Observe the early morning way of life in the village then
depart from the village at 8:30am. Trek to Donue village (5
hours). Passing through the virgin forest, colourful
butterflies and different kinds of orchids. In the afternoon
take a car to drive back to hotel( 2.5 hours drive). |

Day 1: Bagan-Kanpalet (by jeep)
Morning drive from Kanpalet at 8:30am to the trekking point
(1.5 hours drive). Trekking to Mt Victoria, one of the
country's national parks. The total 2 hour trek is from the
base camp to Mt Victoria peak and then back to a different
base camp. Then transfer Aye village by car
Day 3: Aye village-Mindat (by car/trek)n the afternoon enjoy the Chin traditional dance. In this village, they sacrifice bulls for spiritial reasons. Every household in the village is decorated with the skull of bulls, dogs and pigs. To the villages, there is a sense of pride to decorate their with these skulls because it shows their power, wealth and prestige. They record how many animals they sacrifice by decorating a large wood spike with different carving for different meanings. Visit to Lotepae village, Pukwan village then drive back to Mindat (45 minutes by car). Overnight in Mindat.
