Welcome you at the Yangon international air port. Drive downtown to central post office where you will start your walking tour and walk along the Strand Road, the jetty to observe the ways of life of the people on Yangon River. Then walk in the Pansoedan Street, famous for the most impressive colonial buildings to be found in Yangon. And then to Sule Pagoda, City Hall, the high court, Mahabandola Garden. In the afternoon, visit to Bogyoke( Scott ) market where a lot of food, clothing, handicrafts, and gems stores are located. Visit to the hand made glass blowing factory and exploring the natural warehouse. Enjoy the sunset to Shwedagon Pagoda, one of the world's most spectacular monuments. Overnight in Yangon.

In the morning, drive to Thanlyin with its shady trees, relaxing change of pace and vibrant market to stroll through, sightseeing includes the ancient monastery and observe the way of life of Buddhist monks. In the afternoon visit Yele Paya (mid river pagoda) situated 12 km from Thanlyin at at Kyauktan. We will take a boat trip with pleasant scenery. One attraction includes large, wild catfish being fed on the shores of the island by the locals.

PROGRAM 3

In the morning drive to the jetty and take a boat to the opposite bank of the Yangon river, Dala. There we will travel by jeep (40 minutes) to Twante. On the way passing through the beautiful country side and green fields. Sight seeing includes pottery and weaving workshops as well as crossing the canal to the villages to observe their way of life. Twante is a small town known for its pottery and cotton weaving, supplying much of the delta region with their well designed wares. We will cross the famous canal which was dug during the colonial era. Created as a short cut across the Ayeyarwady Delta.
