ANCIENT BAGAN TOUR
PROGRAM I
 Day
1: Bagan sightseeing
In the morning,transfer from the Nyaung U air
port to Bagan. Morning visit to local Nyaung-U
market, Shwesigon Pagoda, a prototype of later
Myanmar to stupas, Htilomilo Temple noted for
its plaster
carvings, Anada Temple, an architectural
masterpiece resembling a Greek cross, Anada
Okkyaung, a brick monastery with 18th century
mural paintings. After lunch, visit to a lacquer
ware factory, Manuha Temple, built in Mon style
in 1059, Nan Phaya Temple, a unique sandstone
monument. Observe the sunset in the vicinity of
Bagan's ancient monuments. Overnight in Bagan. |

 Day 2: Bagan - Mt Popa - Bagan (by car)
Morning visit to Mt. Popa, an extinct volcano with
natural forest, which is known as the home of the
legendary spirit(Nat). It is like a tropical oasis
emerging from the plain. At the top of the mountain,
there are monasteries and pagodas and enjoy the
panoramic view of the region looking down towards the
arid plain in the
direction of Bagan. On the way pass through palm tree
farms and observe the ways of life of the palm tree
climbers. Overnight in Bagan.
