Myanmar Classical Tour

Myanmar Ruby Land Tour
(Mandalay, Latpanhla, Mogok)
 
Myanmar is famous for its gems and jewellery. One of the most famous is green jade which is exported to Europe and especially China.

Day 1: Mandalay - Mogok
Morning drive to Mogok(6 hours). On the way to Mogok, stop at Latpanhla observe the gold mines and then continue to Shwe Nyaung Pin (fruit market) Arrive Kyatpyin ( the western part of Mogok, 4200 feet above sea level). Then continue to Mogok. Overnight in Mogok.		  

Day 2: Mogok
Full day sightseeing in Mogok including stone mines and gem markets. Drive to Leoo, to observe private open pit mines and traditional chalk mines. Observe gem cutting, polishing and goldsmiths workshops. Enjoy the panoramic view of Mogok from Chanthagyi Pagoda. Overnight in Mogok.

Day 3: Mogok - Mandalay
After breakfast, drive to Panchan Gem Market which is the biggest gem market in Mogok. Afterwards, drive back to Mandalay. Over night in Mandalay.
