Kawthaung

Kawthaung, Victoria point is situated 921 km from Yangon and 622 km from Mawlamyine. From Ranong, a border town in Thailand, visitors can take a 20 mins boat trip to Kawtaung for sightseeing and shopping. Lanpi Marine Biological Park, Salone Village, Shwe Kyun (Runel Island), where there is goldmine and is 48km northwest of Kawthaung. Iron Island at Day Wuit Kyun is 72km south of Kawthaung. Tungsten is found in this area. Andaman Club on the Thahtay Kyun Island is located west of Kawthaung.
