Die Tage am Inle-See mit meinem Guide Nandar bleiben unvergesslich. Mit ihrer freundlichen und fröhlichen Art öffnet sie die Herzen der Menschen und die Türen ihrer Häuser. Durch ihre umfassende Kenntnis der Geschichte und der Traditionen des Landes erhielt ich einen sehr direkten und nachhaltigen Eindruck vom Leben der Menschen am Inle-See. Schade, dass es nur einige Tage waren. Gern würde ich mit ihr auch andere Teile dieses schönen Landes bereisen. Vielleicht klappt es im nächsten Jahr!

Message: Мьянма в сезон дождей

Если вы с детства грезите увидеть настоящую Азию, посетите Бирму. Моя мечта сбылась не так давно.

Еще в далекие 80-е, затаив дыхание, усевшись у телевизора, смотрел «Вокруг Света Альманах», где часто показывали буддистских монахов, женщин несущих на голове различные вещи, улицы переполненные велосипедным бряком, и пальмы, вдохновляющие еще более увидеть тот, иной мир.

И вот спустя 20 с лишним лет моя мечта воплотилась. Я решил отправиться в далекую неведомую страну. Мадагаскар, Куба или Бирма. Выбор пал на третью. Легче добраться казалось и дешевле выходило. Немного усердий и временных затрат на собирание команды. И решено – 6 человек отправляется в Мьянму.

Главным и минимальным препятствием для украинца может стать виза. Ее получить можно в Москве.(есть способ через интернет, но мы не рискнули). Ехать в «белокаменную» не желали, нашли подрядчика и слегка, волнуясь, отдали паспорта. Все получилось.

Лететь в любом случае пришлось через Бангкок, поэтому заглянули в этот город. Описывать эмоции не буду, так как о нем и так достаточно написано.

Маршрут выбрали классический (предварительно изучив в интернете всевозможную информацию). Познакомились с бирманкой, которая и оказала нам часть услуг. Здесь хочу заметить, что через местные турагентства выгоднее заказывать гостиницу и транспортизацию, у них хорошие скидки, которые вы не сможете получить самостоятельно.

Янгон – Баган – Мандалай – Инле – Янгон. Таков был маршрут. Кроме Баган-Мандалай, у нас были перелеты, о чем не пожалели. А вот возбужденные романтизмом, повелись на стишок Киплинга «Дорогой в Мандалай». Не рекомендую совершать подобный путь. Он не так интересен и привлекателен.

Янгон – де-факто столица Бирмы. Что стоит посетить в городе так это Шведагон пагоду. Невероятное место, мы провели несколько часов – отдыхая на ее территории, не хотелось уходить. Настолько умиротворенное место. Сооружения переливаются золотом, даже ночью, когда включают подсветку, пагода завораживает и пленит.

Чтоб узнать, как живут бирманцы – отправьтесь на пароходе через речку на другой берег.

Колоритное место. Наймите велорикш и совершите прогулку по улочкам. Общайтесь с людьми, дарите им мелкие подарки, открытки Украины. 90% населения прежде не встречало «белого» человека. Они с интересом подходят и трогают вас как зверька. Но все очень доброжелательно. Уже становиться не понятно кто на кого пришел посмотреть.

Отправьтесь и вы увидите – реальный быт бирманца. Здесь нет отелей, ресторанов, магазинов для туристов. Кафе, библиотеки, парикмахерские, ремонты обуви, (а точнее вьетнамок), зонтиков, продажа сигарет или табака, сандалового дерева. Все это под открытым небом и создается впечатление, что образ жизни не изменился за последних лет 100. Лишь телевизоры и антенны напоминают о 21 веке.

Еще в первый день пребывания, мы поражались, что мужчины носят юбки, а вместо сигарет жуют траву с добавками, потом выплевывая красную смесь, как будто кровью. Женщины и дети мажут лица «глиной» (растертое сандаловое дерева), защищая кожу от солнца. Со временем привыкаешь к подобным обычаям. Да мы и сами, при солнцепеке, использовали сандал. Помогает.

Больше всего перед путешествием нас беспокоило две вещи. Сезон дождей и что собой представляют местные перелеты. Как оказалось, сезон дождей – это не означает, что постоянно идут ливни. Мы лишь дважды попадали под дождь, и тот приносил прохладу и свежесть.

Что касается авиалиний – приятно были удивлены. Правда очень комично выходит посадка в аэропортах. Выходит человек с табличкой, и ожидает, пока пассажиры сами не догадаются, что это их рейс. Выглядит смешно, как триста туристов озадачено пытаются угадать их ли рейс…

Багану мы посвятили два дня. На самом деле в этом археологическом рае можно проводить время неделями. Трудно представить, как на территории в 40 кв.м. разместилось 4000 буддистских храмов. Поразительное зрелище. Постарайтесь взобраться на Shwesandaw пагоду, чтоб увидеть панораму. Долина реки Иривади (одной из крупнейших в Азии), горы с двух сторон и храмы, храмы, храмы. Удивительно и то, что многие сохранились в первозданном облике. В большинстве случаев они повторимы. Поэтому исследуйте 5-6 наиболее интересных, и вы наверняка насытитесь. Взяв велосипеды напрокат, мы изучили 8 различных ступ. Это - Ананда, Thatbyinnyu, Dhammayangyi, Mahabodhi и другие. Закат встречали на берегу реки. Невероятное зрелище. «Ах, почему мы в Украине не замечаем таких чудес?!»…


Для разнообразия на следующий день выехали к горе Попа. Потухший вулкан, где гуляют привыкшие к туристам сотни наглых обезьян, готовых вырвать с ваших рук все, что залезет в рот. Будьте осторожны.

На обратной дороге сделали остановку у одного из ремесленников. Охватыает впечатление, что сохранился первобытно-общинный строй. Бирманец с удовольствием показал каким образом изготавливают пальмовую водку и сахар. Все просто. Одним прыжком он вылез на дерево, взобрался наверх и забрал глиняные кувшины, в которые сок из листьев капает как березовый, и дважды в день наполняются… Далее – в дело подключают допотопный самогонный аппарат и водка готова. Под впечатлением купили несколько бутылей, на самом деле - мура. А вот сахар пальмовый – деликатес.

Вечером перепробывали купленные ранее местные фрукты. Топом был джекфрукт, с виду похожий на мяч для регби, только зеленого цвета. Его надо разрезать и выбирать из середины соплеобразные веревочки, вкус напоминающий макароны. К слову скажу, что фрукты в Бирме – это отдельная история, но самыми лучшими оказались так знакомые нам бананы и ананасы. Во-первых, вкуснее «наших» однозначно, да и стоимость раз в 10 ниже.

В Багане как нигде, очень навящивые дети. Они практически все стараются вам что-то продать, могут ходить целый день, приставая. Выучив 10 основных фраз по-английски и итальянски, ловко справляются с поставленной задачей. Если вы устали и они начинают вас раздражать – говорите на родном языке, это их кидает в растерянность и они уходят.


Баган – Мандалай. Мы отправились на теплоходе по Иривади, 8 часов не сходя с палубы. Не рекомендую. Нам казалось – это будет романтично и захватывающе. Увы, но кроме нескольких деревень и гуляющих антилоп вдоль берега ничего интересного в этом не оказалось.

Мандалай – второй по значимости город Мьянмы. Но он настолько разниться с Янгоном, что, кажется, между ними отсутствует взаимосвязь. Город – перекресток многих культур – лаосцы, индусы, бангладешцы, китайцы, бирманцы. Отпечаток очевиден. У каждой национальности свое видение образа жизни, все это переноситься на улицы города, где большую часть времени проводят горожане. Создается впечатление, что каждый второй торговец или же таксист. С 8 утра и до 2 ночи стоит невероятный гул. Светофоров и знаков дорожного движения, да и правил как таковых не существует. Хаотичное движение транспорта – является достопримечательностью города.

А еще достопримечательностью города является королевский дворец – обустроенный с 4 сторон высокими стенами периметром 12 км и обведен широким рвом. Крепость состоит из 12 ворот (но открыты только 4), которые означают 12 знаков зодиака, а сам дворец построен по задуму, как центр Мира. Построен он был во 2 половине 19 века королем Миндоном и продержался недолго, завоевали англичане. Город сдался последним и стал для самих англичан символом свободы. Вдохновив Киплинга написать стихотворение «Дорога в Мандалай», а Роби Вильямса создать музыкальный хит.

Недалеко от Дворца находиться Мандалайский Холм (Мандалай Хилл), с которого открывается панорама города и его окрестностей, наиболее впечатляет огромное кол-во рисовых полей, такими ровными кусочками как коврами уткана равнина. У подножия холма - еще одно прекрасное место – Кутодау пагода, с тысячами маленькими белоснежными ступами.

Поражает и то, как построен город. Если вы возьмете в руки карту, убедитесь, он весь разбит на кварталы, как шахматная доска, а улицы все наименованы цифрами: 12-я улица, 81-я улица и т.п. Видимо англичанам так легче было ориентироваться.

Озеро Инле расположено в ущелье Шанских гор, но образовано, скорее всего (наше предположение) в результате заболачивания и дождей, так как оно мелкое. Здесь вы можете отдыхать неделями. Отели, дома, магазины, ремесленнические пункты расположены на сваях и построены на озере. Вся жизнь здесь связана с водой. Рыбалка, ткацтво, производство сувениров, серебра, бумаги – основные занятия племен населяющих озеро. Также выращивание овощей и фруктов происходит на воде. Собирая водоросли и выстраивая из них поднятые грядки – успешно выращиваются помидоры, лук, капуста и др.

Вы обязательно встретитесь и загляните на огонек к шанским женщинам, которые всю сознательную жизнь носят кольца на шее и руках. Каждых три года вешается следующее, но при этом не должно быть больше 25. По поверьям таким образом - защищались от нападения тигра, которые хватал человека как добычу за шею. Сейчас это лишь дань обычаям и просто как украшение. Хотя носить его нелегко, в действительности тяжеловато.

Выпив чая и беседуя об обычаях шан, нам продемонстрировали танцы и песни. Думаю, это делается для каждого туриста, но выглядит очень естественно и непринужденно.

Встретите также рыбаков, которые передвигаются на лодках с помощью ног.

Одним из желаний было отправиться в леса. Вдоль бамбуковых рощ мы вышли к забытой пагоде 17 века. Местами поросшая зарослями, выглядела мистически и завораживающе. К сожалению, появление туристов в последние годы отпугнули тигров и зверей глубоко в горы, поэтому кроме цыкаду и пауков мы не встретили. Вечер и рассвет встречали на террасе - свежий горный воздух, манго, зеленый чай, легкая музыка. В тот момент хотелось остаться надолго и проводить днями вот так, насыщаясь неспешным размеренным ритмом. Но нас ждал еще Таиланд, и мы должны были мчаться навстречу новым приключениям, раскрывать новые загадки и обычаи. Удивительно, но несмотря на то, что Мьянму посещает все больше и больше туристов, она остается загадочной и необыкновенной страной, с неповторимой культурой и необычайно добрыми людьми, которые, кстати знают Украину, благодаря Шевченко (они все практически фанаты футбола).

Getting it is possible in Moscow.(there is a method over the internet, but we did not risk). Did not wish to ride in a «Moscow», found a contractor and slightly, worrying, gave passports. All turned out. To fly in any case was through Bangkok, therefore glanced in this city. I will not describe emotions, because it is written enough and so about.

A route was chosen classic (preliminary studying various information in the internet). Met with a burmese tour-operator which rendered us part of services. Here I want to notice that through local tourist office it is advantageous to order a hotel and transportation, for them good discounts which you will not be able to get independently. Yangon – Bagan - Mandalay – Inle - Yangon. Such was the route. Except for Bagan-Mandalay, we had flights. And excited romanticism, led on the verse of Kiplings «Road in Mandalay». I do not recommend to accomplish a similar way. It's not so interesting and attractive.

Yangon is the capital of Burma de-facto. That needs to be visited in town is Shvedagon pagoda. Unbelievable place, we conducted a few hours – resting on its territory, it was not desirable to leave. Greetings from Australia and I hope this letter finds you happy and well. I am writing to express my thanks to you for the very comprehensive tour you organized for me throughout the centre of Myanmar last January 18th-28,2006.

I appreciated the detailed itinerary which you prepared for me as it was very interesting to read and I was able to anticipate the sights and activities that I would be enjoying each day.

The highlight for me, however, was meeting and enjoying the company of my three excellent guides- Phyo Phyo, Kyaw Min Hitke and Thu Thu. Each guide covered their area very well and responded cleverly to my request that they be “flexible” and show me anything they might consider I would find interesting. These sights and experiences” not on the list” have become the most memorable of an interesting tour.
